The char is getting really good, but I just don't like somethings about him.

1. He moves too slow; he feels heavy compare to other chars. for ex. goku budokai by Xande
I tested your goku fighting against Xandes and he does move kinda slow.
2. You can probably try making your ub22 char just a little smaller; they look kinda heavy. Try it.  It might give you another feeling about the char.
Compared to other chars, goku can't be that big.  I tried xscale: .9 and yscale .9
3. The AI only does the hyper move with master rochi; he did it to me about 3 or 4 times in a row.
4. Goku's dragon fist doesn't work for short stages; he does go off the top on some and misses the hit against its oponent.
5. Please change the way this char performs its hyper moves; it's really hard on trying to get some of those hypers out which are really nice to watch him doing them.


What I like in general, and what I remember is:

All the hyper moves are working great with this char. You might wanna try making the kameha wave from rochi and goku make it a little bigger.
Good idea on using the (nimbus) to make the character be able to fly in some sort of way.
In general is looking good.  Keep up the good work.

Probably what was bothering me about the speed is that you might wanna try it against mvc chars because its speed is kinda slow compared to them.
Make it playable with other chars in the speed sense.

I made him slow on purpose to elimate the idea of him going too fast for other characters, i guess its worked too well.

Its not a ub22 character the sprites were from shinbutoden, if you dont like the sizing for the sprites i suppose it would be possible to resize them in the cns file (i see youve done it already). Other than that im afraid there isnt much i can do about that.

I havent to noticed that problem at all im guessing your using the default A.I if so there isnt much i can do with that i either. The way around it would be to enable the custom AI.

Gokus dragon fist isnt always meant to work and due to the nature of the move it would be very hard to make this move work with all stages.

You have a problem performing the hypers? which hypers are you on about? They seem easy enough to perform for me.

The kamehameha in the the goku and roshi move looks fine to me although im considering making that into a more spectacular level 3 move (if i do this then i may use a bigger kamehameha) in the future.

Everyone knows that Xande's goku is great because of its simplicity on having his hypers and other movements performed.

You know sometimes simplicity makes something even better.  It would be alot easier to play your goku by just performing his hypers with one button.

Is there any way for me to change the speed of the character for my personal use, just like resizing the char?

Yes, that would be possible but that would also elminate the idea of MVC style gameplay Sad

I would say that one of Goku HRs weakpoints in my view is the controls even though everything else is done very well, im just not very keen on 1 button supers.

Having said that i would probably do an alternate version if enough people feel the same way.

Yes, there is a number of ways you can do this.

You would have to get an editor such as fighter factory and look at the animations in the air file and decrease the times for each frame where you feel its too slow

Also if the super moves feel too slow you can always adjust the superpause sctrl by adjusting the following parameters:

time =
movetime =

You might have adjust the characters animation time in the frame shown in the superpause.

Also you could see if adjusting the following works:

hmm, hes nice and balanced not to overpowerd and not to weak. i like how you added the master and student thing sorta like the thing you did with master roshi.
and the charging kamehamameha is cool.(not alot of feedback i know)
